Raw and lunar on the outside, warm and alive within. The exterior of this hand-built stoneware bowl is matte and deeply textured, volcanic, almost geological, while the interior reveals a glossy dark glaze with flashes of bronze and copper that seem to glow from somewhere deep inside the clay.
The contrast is the point. These are not bowls that announce themselves, they reward the person who stops to look.
Functional but conceived for the shelf. Beautiful holding fruit, keys, or nothing at all.
