This one is personal. The tones are the same ones that run through everything, the terracottas, the clay naturals, the dusty pinks of interiors I've designed and ceramics I've thrown. The forms are pulled directly from my vessels. And the surface - layered, scraped, worn - comes from the same place it always does: old buildings, eroded stone, the way time shows itself in paint.
