Two forms in conversation, a hand-built ceramic bowl that cradles the light source, sending a warm glow upward into a wide sinamay shade above, where it scatters across the open weave and fills the room with quiet luminance. Below the clay, a brass ball finial. Between them, a brass spine. The whole composition feels both grounded and weightless.
 
The ceramic is raw and volcanic in texture, dark, elemental, and unapologetically handmade. The sinamay, a woven straw fiber rooted in millinery tradition, does what no fabric can: it catches light and holds it, glowing from within.
