MARINO LAMP
22"h x 14"dia
stoneware with cerulean glaze, unfinished brass hardware
A wheel-thrown base rises into a hand-built dome shade, capped with a simple brass finial.
Cerulean glaze covers the piece in a deep, saturated blue, catching the light unevenly across the dome and settling into a soft sheen down the length of the base. Unfinished brass hardware completes the piece, warming against the cool glaze as it ages. The light is color-temperature adjustable and dimmable via an in-line switch on the cord, so the glow can shift from warm to cool depending on the room and hour.
Handbuilt and wheel-thrown ceramic.
One of a kind.
