MOJÓN
11"h x 11.5"dia
unglazed stoneware, unfinished brass hardware

A broad dome shade sits on a short, rounded base, capped with a simple brass finial.

There is no glaze here. The clay is left raw, pale and speckled, with the marks of the hand still in it: a faint seam around the base, small pits, and warm brown flecks showing through the surface. It looks like weathered stone. The brass finial is the only bright note and will warm with age. The light is color-temperature adjustable and dimmable via an in-line switch on the cord, so the glow can shift from warm to cool depending on the room and hour.

Handbuilt ceramic.
One of a kind.
Price: $750
