Named for the Roman roof tile it echoes, this hand-built stoneware tray carries the same elemental logic, a long, curved channel lifted on small feet, with ends that flare like a tile laid to shed water for centuries. The glaze is sandy and mineral, with dark edges bleeding through where the clay shows beneath, giving it the appearance of something excavated rather than made.
Use it for keys, jewelry, remotes, a few stems. Or nothing at all, it holds its own as a pure object.
Handcrafted in Chicago. 9.5"l × 4.5"w × 2.5"h.
