Oil on canvas 54x38
A white horse in profile moves across a field of deep ultramarine, built up in thick, scraped paint and edged in darker blue. Flecks of underpainting break through the surface like wear on an old sign, and a single streak of lighter blue below the horse reads as a mark of motion.
Oil on canvas. 54 x 38 inches.
One of a kind, signed by the artist.
