Named for the open gathering place at the heart of ancient Greek life, this wheel-thrown terracotta bowl earns its name. Wide, open, and quietly commanding — the broad rim flares outward like an invitation while a refined pedestal base lifts the whole form just enough to give it presence. The surface is smooth and unadorned, letting the warm terracotta speak entirely for itself.
Pure form, pure material, nothing else needed.
Note: as with all unglazed terracotta, this vessel is not watertight. Use with a vessel liner, or display alone.
