A dense, rounded form, closed almost entirely but for a narrow opening pinched at the top — the mark of how it was made left visible, a trace that gives it the presence of something worn by time rather than freshly fired.
The surface is mottled and speckled throughout, warm tones sitting against cool, with a fault line visible where the two halves were joined. Reads like stone pulled from the ground rather than clay shaped by hand.
