Stacked and segmented, the form rises in banded sections — cinched, released, cinched again — like something built up in stages rather than thrown in one motion.
Bronze glaze is applied across the dark clay body, but the color reads through only in traces, catching the light at the high points and ridges while the rest settles into deep black. The surface stays rough and textured throughout, holding the marks of the hand at every seam.
Handbuilt ceramic. 8 inches tall, 6 inches diameter. One of a kind.
