Wheel-thrown terracotta, combed with horizontal lines that wrap the entire body like sediment layers laid down over centuries. The surface is raw and unglazed — warm, porous, the color of sun-baked earth. A subtle fade near the shoulder where the clay thins is not a flaw; it is the piece telling you how it was made.
This is terracotta in its most honest form. No glaze, no artifice — just clay, fire, and the marks left by human hands.
Note: as with all unglazed terracotta, this vessel is not watertight. Use with a vessel liner for fresh stems, or display as a pure object. Either way it belongs.
